Bosnian state-ownedpower transmission system operator
Elektroprenos-Elektroprijenos BiH said on Wednesday it had signed nine contracts
so far this year, mostly for power line construction and upgrade projects, worth
more than 9 million marka ($5.2 million/4.6 million euro).
The company
plans investments of 283.7 million marka in 2015 for the upgrade of the
transmission network with priority projects including the construction of
transmission lines and installation of transformers in several transformer
stations, as well as the construction of ten new transformer stations,
Elektroprenos-Elektroprijenos BiH said in a statement e-mailed to
SeeNews.
In January, Elektroprenos-Elektroprijenos BiH signed a contract
with a consortium of Croatia’s Dalekovod and its Bosnian unit Dalekovod d.o.o.
Mostar for the construction of Mostar 9 transformer station, worth 3.6 million
marka. Works should be completed in the second half of 2016.
Two
contracts were signed with local firm UMEL-Dalekovodmontaza for the upgrade of
the 110 kV power line Bugojno-Kupres worth 262,000 marka and for the
reconstruction of the 110 kV power line TE Tuzla –Lukavac 1 worth 814,000
marka.
It also signed a deal for the procurement of supervisory control
and data acquisition systems SCADA with local companies SK Trading and R&S
worth 463,000 marka. Deals worth a total of 150,000 marka were signed with
Bosnian companies UNIS –Telekom, Energoinvest SUE and Elcor for the procurement
of spare parts.
Earlier this month, the company signed a 3.9 million
marka contract with local consortium Elektroenergetika for the construction of
the 100 kV power line Kotor Varos-Ukrina.

autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina.
