Bosnian company TLG doo Travnik is developing two wind park projects,Vlasic and Galica, with combined installed capacity of 100 MW, worth a total of 130 million euro ($148 million), the company's director said on Wednesday.

Construction works on the wind parks should start at the end of May next year if conditions permit, bearing in mind that installation of wind turbines is not possible at wind speeds greater than 8 m/s, the company's director Zoran Vujinovic said in a statement e-mailed to SeeNews.

He said that all project studies have been completed, and preliminary consent given to connect the wind farms to the grid. According to Vujinovic, the company plans to obtain all needed permits and approvals this year to pave the way for the construction and operation of the wind parks.

The Travnik municipality, where the wind parks will be located, said in statement last week that TLG filed applications for environmental permits for the construction of Vlasic and Galica wind parks, each with installed capacity of up to 50 MW.

TLG will also need urban planning and construction permits to launch the project, Travnik's authorities said.

Vlasic is a mountain near the city of Travnik in the central part of the Federation, one of the two entities that form Bosnia. The other is the Serb Republic
