Croatian deputy prime minister Branko Grcic said on
Wednesday he expects a slight economic growth in the first quarter of
2015.
"We expect to see the first quarter of this year close with a small
positive growth, which would in fact mean the official exit from the crisis
after two consecutive positive quarters," the website of the Croatian government
quoted Grcic as saying in parliament.
Croatia's gross domestic product
(GDP) increased by a real 0.3% in the fourth quarter of 2014 compared to the
same quarter of the previous year. For the full 2014, GDP fell by a real 0.4%,
marking the Adriatic state's sixth recessionary year in a row.
