Bosnian 300 MW thermal power plant (TPP) Gacko was reconnected to the grid on Wednesday after a 42-day regular annual overhaul, local media reported.
The costs for the overhaul and related investments totalled 5 million marka ($2.7 million/ 2.5 million euro), news agency Srna reported, quoting Gacko executive director for power production and development Borivoje Vujicic.
He added the plant operates at minimum capacity and will be powered up to full capacity on Thursday.
The Gacko TPP plant, which generated 1,542 GWh of electricity in 2014, and the adjacent namesake coal mine operate as a single business unit, RiTE Gacko [BANJ:RITE-R-A], part of power utility Elektroprivreda RS.
