Bosnian state-run power
transmission system operator Elektroprenos BiH has 300 million marka ($172.2
million/153.4 million euro) available for investments in the energy system in
2015, local media reported on Tuesday.
Elektroprenos has already
concluded contracts worth a total of 55 million marka and currently has ongoing
tenders in the amount of 120 million marka, news agency Srna reported, quoting
the company’s director Mato Zaric.
Zaric added that these tenders will be
finalized by mid-July and that Elektroprenos is presently preparing to invite
bids for every remaining job envisaged in this year’s investment
plan.
Elektroprenos BiH operates in both the Muslim-Croat Federation and
the Serb Republic, the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and
Herzegovina.
