Croatian power transmission equipment maker Dalekovod said on Tuesday it has been formally notified by Ukrainian national transmission network operator Ukrenergo it has won a 45 million euro ($50.6 million) transformer station upgrade deal.
Croatian power transmission equipment maker Dalekovod said on Tuesday it has been formally notified by Ukrainian national transmission network operator Ukrenergo it has won a 45 million euro ($50.6 million) transformer station upgrade deal.

The deal, expected to be signed soon, will include the modernisation and upgrade of the Kyivska transformer station, part of the Rivne–Kijev transmission line, Dalekovod said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.

This is the second deal Dalekovod will sign with Ukrenergo this year, after earlier this month it inked with the Ukrainian company a 10 million euro contract for the upgrade of Ukraine's transmission network.

Dalekovod manufactures transmission lines, substations, low-voltage network equipment, fibre-optic cable equipment, suspension and jointing equipment, contact networks, lighting and reflector pylons, metal structures and antenna pylons.
