Kazakhstan Approves New Cost of Transporting Russian Oil

Kazakhstan’s Energy Ministry has approved for the period 2017-2018 the cost of transporting Russian oil in the volume of up to 10 million tonnes per year through the territory of Kazakhstan to China in the amount of $11 36 cents for 1 tonne without VAT, the press- service of national company KazTransOil reported on March 9
Kazakhstan’s Energy Ministry has approved for the period 2017-2018 the cost of transporting Russian oil in the volume of up to 10 million tonnes per year through the territory of Kazakhstan to China in the amount of $11 36 cents for 1 tonne without VAT, the press- service of national company KazTransOil reported on March 9.

In particular, on the section of the border of Russia – the border of Kazakhstan (Priirtyshsk) – Atasu (Kazakhstan), the cost of transporting Russian oil will be $3.11 per 1 tonne without VAT.

And on the section of the site Atasu (Kazakhstan) – Alashankou (China) the cost of transporting of Russian oil will be $8,25 per 1 tonne without VAT.

The previous cost of transporting Russian oil on this route was $ 9,8 per 1 tonne without VAT.
