According to the daily, Filip Thon said RWE is also considering building a new coal-fired power station in Poland with 1,600 megawatt capacity.

The Polish government plans to float minority stakes in two integrated power groups this year and said it could subsequently invite foreign investors to buy shares in electricity companies.
