MOSCOW (Dow Jones)--Russia's state gas firm OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) said Tuesday it intends to fulfill the government's order to grant independent gas producers access to the company's vast pipeline network.

Russian authorities said earlier this year Gazprom should publicly declare spare pipeline capacity and accept all applications for long-term supply contracts.

Gazprom also said it will continue implementing equal pricing for independent producers on the domestic market as well as for export.

Gazprom operates the country's 156,900 kilometer-long gas pipeline network, while independent producers are forced to sell the bulk of their natural gas production at prices dictated by the monopoly and below market price.
