Russia will host a summit on the European gas crisis
Saturday and is inviting European leaders to take part, news agencies reported
Thursday, citing a spokeswoman for President Dmitry Medvedev.
"The summit on the gas problem...will take place on Jan. 17 in Moscow," Interfax and RIA Novosti reported, citing
spokeswoman Natalya Timakova.
"Invitations are being sent to heads of state and government of European
countries that consume and ship Russian gas," she was quoted as saying.
