Total sales of oil products in
Germany
rose 7.9% on year in October to 7.12 million metric tons, according to
provisional data from industry group MWV Thursday.
In terms of individual products, heating oil sales rose 16.2% to 2.04 million
tons on year.
Germany
is
Northwest Europe
's largest market for heating gasoil.
Meanwhile, total sales of diesel rose 7.8% on year to 2.96 million tons.
