Russian gas producer OAO Novatek (NVTK.RS) Monday said its natural gas output in the third quarter rose 58% from a year earlier to 13.45 billion cubic meters.

The production of liquid hydrocarbons, including oil and gas condensate, rose 12% to 998,000 metric tons, Novatek said.

The company said in February it expects total output in 2011 to grow between 12% and 15%.

The nine-month production of gas is up 45% from the previous year to 39.01 billion cubic meters, while the output of liquid hydrocarbons is up 16% to 3.6 million tons.
