Iraq has raised the official selling prices of its crude oil in August to all buyers, the State Oil Marketing Organization, or SOMO, said Friday.

Price for Basra Light crude for delivery to
Europe in August was raised by $1.20 a barrel to $3.20 a barrel below Dated Brent, from minus $4.40 a barrel in July, SOMO said in a statement emailed to Dow Jones Newswires.

The August OSP for
U.S. customers was raised by $0.15 a barrel to $1.50 a barrel below the Argus Sour Crude Index, or ASCI, from minus $1.65 a barrel the previous month, SOMO said.

Basra Light crude August OSP for delivery to Asian buyers was up by $0.65 a barrel to $0.95 above Oman/Dubai quotes from +$0.30 a barrel the previous month, it said.

The
Kirkuk crude destined for the European market in August was raised by $1.40 a barrel to $1.15 a barrel below Dated Brent, from minus $2.55 a barrel in July, it added.

For
U.S. customers the price for Kirkuk crude in August was raised by $0.15 a barrel to $0.60 a barrel above ASCI, from $0.45 a barrel above ASCI in July.
