Iraq 's crude-oil exports in July were up 4.6% on month, to 2.515 million barrels a day from 2.403 million barrels a day in June, according to an Iraqi Oil Ministry spokesman.

Assem Jihad said that these exports earned
Iraq some $7.535 billion in July, compared with $6.435 billion in June.

Iraq sold its crude oil at an average of $96.599 a barrel in July, compared with an average of $90 a barrel in the previous month, Mr. Jihad told Dow Jones Newswires.

Basra light crude exports flowed at 2.215 million barrels a day in July, up from 2.085 million barrels a day in June. Kirkuk crude exports via Turkey 's Ceyhan port totaled 300,000 barrels a day in July, down from 316,660 barrels a day in June.

Mr. Jihad said the decrease in
Kirkuk crude exports was due to an act of sabotage against the part of the export pipeline inside Turkish territory.
