South Korea 's Samsung Group is considering building two solar parks with a total capacity of 45 megawatts in Romania , following the development of similar projects in neighboring Bulgaria , news agency Mediafax reported Wednesday, citing an official of the South Korean Trade Ministry.

Samsung is looking at two locations in Giurgiu County , southern Romania , for the construction of the photovoltaic projects, said Park Robyug, Ambassador for Energy and Resources with the ministry.

The official didn't say when the projects would start or how much Samsung is planning to invest.
