China 's electricity output in October totaled 389.8 billion kilowatt hours, up 6.4% compared with the same period last year, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed Friday.

In the first 10 months of the year, China 's electricity output totaled 3.98 trillion kWh, up 3.9%, it said.
