Enel CEO Hopes to Conclude Gas Supply Renegotiations by Year-End

Enel SpA (ENEL.MI), Italy's biggest utility company by market value, hopes to be able to conclude its natural gas supply contracts renegotiations by the end of the year, Chief Executive Officer Fulvio Conti said Monday.

"I certainly hope to do so [conclude the renegotiations by end 2012]," Mr. Conti said at an event in Rome. "They are going well."
