Saudi Arabian Oil Co. or Saudi Aramco, may start producing crude from its Khursaniyah oil field in early August but not at full capacity, Abha-based Al Watan daily reported Tuesday.

Initial production won't exceed 250,000 barrels a day as related gas facilities haven't been completed yet, the paper reported, citing a person close to Aramco.

Output will reach full capacity of 500,000 barrels a day after completion of the gas facilities in the fourth quarter, the person said.

In line with its commitment to boost Saudi oil production to 12.5 million barrels a day by the end of 2010 and in order to tackle delays on some projects, Aramco has embarked on a job reshuffling, the paper reported.

Aramco has appointed Maged Al Maqla as vice president for project management to replace Ali Al Ajmi and appointed Adel Al Tubayyeb as vice president for refining, Al Watan reported.
