Spanish energy company Gas Natural SDG SA (GAS.MC) Wednesday said it has won bids to install 52.7 megawatts in new wind power capacity in 11 wind parks across the Canary Islands.

Spanish energy company Gas Natural SDG SA (GAS.MC) Wednesday said it has won bids to install 52.7 megawatts in new wind power capacity in 11 wind parks across the Canary Islands.

The company said in a filing with regulators that 19 MW correspond to capacity to be installed by Eufer, the renewables joint-venture of Gas Natural's power unit Union Fenosa SA (UNF.MC) and Italy's Enel SpA (ENEL.MI).

Gas Natural didn't disclose investment details.

Gas Natural has 779 MW of installed renewable energy capacity, of which 419 MW come from Eufer.
