Turkey's fuel distributor Petrol Ofisi AS (PTOFS.IS), or POAS, said Wednesday that the Energy Ministry has lifted a ban on the company from participating in public tenders for a year, in line with a court decision, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reports.

In July, an administrative court suspended a decision on forbidding POAS from participating in public tenders.

In April the Energy Ministry suspended POAS from participating in public tenders for a year, due to irregularities in a fuel-oil tender. POAS then filed a case to the administrative court.

Petrol Ofisi is controlled by Dogan Holding and energy firm OMV AG (OMV.VI).

At 0800 GMT, Petrol Ofisi shares were trading in Istanbul down 1.38% at TRY7.10, amid a 0.19% higher overall market.
