Russian Energy Minister Sergey Shmatko expects the country's oil and gas condensate output to total 490 million metric tons this year, or 9.84 million barrels a day, the Interfax news agency reported Thursday.
Russian oil output has risen 0.4% in the first eight months of the year, against expectations.
Last year, Russia produced 488.12 million tons of oil.
