OAO Gazprom Neft (SIBN.RS) may increase capital spending this year by between $100 million and $200 million, the company's Chief Financial Officer Vadim Yakovlev said Wednesday.
The increase will primarily be directed at upstream activities, Yakovlev added.
In April, the company said it planned capital spending to total $1.9 billion this year, down from $3.3 billion in 2008.
