OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) expects the South Stream gas pipeline to be
launched in 2015, the company's Chief Executive Alexei Miller said Monday.
South Stream is a joint venture between Italian energy giant Eni SpA (E) and
Gazprom. Miller said he expects French state-controlled power giant Electricite
de France SA (EDF.FR) to enter the project in 2011.
Eni and Gazprom agreed to let EDF enter the South Stream last year. The
project, which is still at a feasibility stage, aims to transport annually 63
billion cubic meters of Russian and Caspian gas under the
Black
Sea

Europe
