Russian state oil producer OAO Rosneft (ROSN.RS) is considering partnering with Chinese and Indian energy companies to work on Arctic projects, Chief Executive Eduard Khudainatov said Wednesday.

"We are looking at partnerships with Chinese and Indian firms as well as
others," Khudainatov told Russian state television.

The comments come just two months after Rosneft announced a strategic alliance
with U.K. oil major BP PLC (BP) to jointly develop three offshore licenses in
Russian Arctic waters.
