Russian oil producer OAO Rosneft (ROSN.RS) isn't in talks with BP PLC (BP) to buy out the U.K. oil major's Russian partners in the TNK-BP Ltd. joint venture, the Interfax news agency reports Friday, citing Rosneft Chief Executive Eduard Khudainatov.

agency reports Friday, citing Rosneft Chief Executive Eduard Khudainatov.
"No, we're not discussing this," Khudainatov said when asked about a
possible buyout.
BP Chief Executive Bob Dudley said Thursday that BP and Rosneft had made a
joint offer to buy a 50% stake in TNK-BP from a group of Soviet-born businessmen.
This was part of a bid to resolve a dispute over an alliance between BP and
Rosneft, but the offer was turned down, Dudley said.
