very close to reaching a long-term gas supply deal, Alexander Medvedev, a
senior executive of Russian state-owned gas firm OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) said
Friday.
Thursday, the two countries failed to close top-level negotiations.
"Price was one of the issues we failed to agree on," Gazprom's Deputy
Chief Executive Medvedev said. "But I believe we're very close."
