Russian state gas firm OAO
Gazprom (GAZP.RS) plans to start production at its Sakhalin-3 field off the
Pacific island of
Sakhalin in the second
quarter of 2012, the company's Deputy Chief Executive Alexander Ananenkov said
Tuesday.
Gazprom may also begin producing liquefied natural gas at a new plant near Vladivostok in Russia's
Far East in 2017, Ananenkov said.
