Vietnam will need to invest $48.8 billion in its power industry between this year and 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said Thursday.

the Ministry of Industry and Trade said Thursday.
Of the total, 66.6% will be invested in new power plants and 33.4% in power
transmission systems, the ministry said in a statement.
The country will issue domestic and international bonds to raise funds to build
the power plants, it said.
