CEZ Distribution has filed a request with Albania’s Energy Regulatory Entity (ERE) for an increase by 4.5 percent of the price of electricity in Albania, local media reports. If the request is approved, households in Albania will pay on average 200 Leks more for their electricity bill.
CEZ has justified its request with the level of inflation, the increase of price for imported electrical power, and costs associated with the certification of energy meters.
