French President Nicolas Sarkozy
arrived in Tripoli on Thursday for a joint visit with U.K. Prime Minister David
Cameron following the fall of Moammar Gadhafi's regime, an AFP correspondent
said.
The two men are the first Western leaders to visit Libya since Gadhafi fled in
August in the face of a massive rebel assault backed by NATO air strikes that
were called for and largely carried out by France and Britain.
