Oil output in Russia could decrease 1.1% on the year to 482 million metric tons in 2009, the Economic Development Ministry said in a forecast for 2009 obtained by Prime-Tass news agency Wednesday.
Russia's oil exports could decrease 2.5% on the year to 237 million tons in 2009 due to lower oil output.
Oil refining in Russia is expected to amount to 237 million tons this year.
In 2008, Russia's oil output amounted to 487.6 million tons, oil exports amounted to 243.1 million tons, while oil refining amounted to 236.3 million tons, the Federal State Statistics Service said earlier
