Enel CEO: 2011 Target To Reduce Debt; Cash Flow To Stay High

Italian electronic operator Enel SpA's (ENEL.MI) objective this year is to further reduce its net debt after managing to reach its target at the end of 2010 said Chief Executive Fulvio Conti, Friday.

The CEO of Enel, the utility company with
Europe 's biggest debt after taking control of Spain 's Endesa SA (ELE.MC), was speaking at a conference in Milan .

Conti said Enel expects cash flows in 2011 to continue at high levels.

At the start of February, Enel said its net debt was EUR44.9 billion on Dec. 31, down from EUR50.9 billion for the same period a year earlier. Enel's target was EUR45 billion for the end of 2010.

Under its growth plan, Enel is targetting a net debt of EUR39 billion by 2014.
