Sakhalin Energy:No Plans To Expand Sakhalin-2 For Now

Sakhalin Energy has no plans to enlarge its Sakhalin-2 liquefied natural gas venture in Russia's Far East for now, the company's Chief Executive said Tuesday, dashing the hopes of some Russian officials that the project could be expanded.

The price of natural gas will be reduced by 11.18 per cent as of April 1, the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (SEWRC) said Monday. As of April 1 the price of natural gas will be 545.97 leva/1000 cubic m (VAT excluded) or 68.69 leva less than the price currently offered by Bulgargaz (614.66 leva/1000 cubic m, VAT excluded).
